Cycle 3

In cycle 3, I had a great time learning various things about network security, and adobe premiere! That is what we studied this cycle, we learned basic organization in Premiere, and how to use the timeline!
I learned from our big project that Facebook fishing is pretty easy and if you get the right person, you can get their password.

Well this cycle was very productive because I learned so much in Premiere that I didn't know before, and I made a great video testing that.

Next cycle will be office 365 and how to use that, I am looking forward to doing that because that is the future of business and how offices will get work for their workers. That seems very helpful to know.

Cycle 1 Day 7

Today in IST, we watched a lot of videos on Encryption. We learn about the way encryption works on Google or Facebook. Basically, they send out the connection with a key, they send you their lock, you put your lock on it, send it back, they remove theirs, and then you remove yours. Then you get your secure connection.

Today was productive because I learned how encryption basically works, with some of my favorite sites! Tomorrow is the weekend, and I will continue work with our final project on Monday probably. I don't know what we are doing, so I may find out this weekend!

Cycle 1 Day 5

Hello, Today I started researching for my presentation on a computer virus, I am interested in the Netsky virus, or the ILOVEYOU virus.

Viruses are very BAD!
Today was pretty productive because at least I now know what to make my presentation on.
Tomorrow that is what I am going to do. Make my PowerPoint!

Cycle 1 Day 3

First post of Sophomore year

Today I learned about Admin Management on Windows. I never knew about it! I must make sure to remember about that for further reformats. Today I also passed my computer inspection, which I was surprised to do.
Today was productive because now the Freshman will be able to use the computer with ease! I am happy about that because my brother is a freshman.
Next week we will start security, that should be fun!

Cycle 20 Day 4

Today
I finished my remix! I am so happy that I actually got it done, thank my momma! I finished and made sure my remix was good, and I also made the video for YouTube, and finished my independent project paper.
Today was productive because I finished my project, and there is nothing better than that! Being done!
This was a great year in IST

Cycle 20 Day 3

Today, I worked on my remix some more, it is coming along very nicely. Way better than my thrift shop remix. I was very productive because I worked all day and did not even leave any time free. I made a lot of progress in my song, made the drops too. Hopefully tomorrow I can get it done. I have to... O_-

Cycle 20 Day 2

Today I started my project, I learned how to transpose my song, and I also learned how to change the tempo of the song. I started adding in synths and other parts to the song. I am right where I should be, just starting.

Also, I learned that there are a lot of pre-made bass synths to use to make pitched low frequencies. I did manage to finish about half of my songs and get all of my synths up and running to make my remix. I achieved my goal!

Cycle 18 Day 4

This is the last day in IST. Today I worked on my hardware display board. I did the works cited page. I also worked on my global studies project. I finished the PowerPoint!
Today was productive because I did my global studies and finished it.
Next week it's back to academics to see Brianna. OH YEAH!!!!!!

Cycle 18 Day 2

Today... Today I worked on my hardware display board. I did all the writing for it today and I will finish doing the board tomorrow.
Today was very productive because I finished all my writing for my project. All that I have to do is print it and put it on a board.
Tomorrow or Friday I will do that.

Cycle 18 Day 1

Today in IST, Mr. Syd did server work, and he got the new Dell server up and running. Today I did not do much, but I hope to start my display board tomorrow.
Today was not productive because our internet was down and I could not do research. Tomorrow I shall research.

Cycle 16 Day 6

Today I learned how to link websites together with HTML code. Also, I did a LOT of work on my computer build. I finished the writing part, now I just need to write the specs in a more organized way. I plan to do that tomorrow. Today was a great working day and productive because I got a lot of work done and I had a good time doing it.

Cycle 16 Day 5

Today I talked to Sage using the name "Ashley and Brianna Battle Robo." But anyways, I learned more HTML with the senior, JUSTIN. I learned how to embed a YouTube video and how to add and resize photos.
Today was productive because I learned a lot of new stuff about HTML. Tomorrow I hopefully can finish my computer build and write all the specs down.

Cycle 16 Day 4

Today we learned more about html and how to change the background color, and picture, how to change the text color, and how to add photos. I also worked on my computer build project, that came out well.
Today was productive because I wanted to work on my computer build, and I learned more html. Tomorrow I will finish up my website and work on my computer build project some more.

Cycle 16 Day 3

Salutations, Today in IST we learned some HTML code from a senior, he was a very good teacher and was very patient. he taught us how to do simple coding to make a black and white website. Today was very productive because I got my brain refreshed with HTML. I am happy that I relearned this. Tomorrow I plan to work on my computer build.

Cycle 16 Day 2

Today in IST, I learned about some inputs and outputs that a computer does, also, we watched Bill Clinton talk about his project that he is doing. I also learned about water cooling and we tried to test the fish tank water cooled pc, hopefully we can get it to work tomorrow.
Today was productive because I learned a lot of things about input and output.

Cycle 16 Day 1

Today, we had a presentation video where a guy was saying how someone hacked a Twitter account and the stock market crashed. Also, we had a demonstration on how the most user input is done with a keyboard. I learned that if one little switch is wrong on the power supply, nothing will work. Today was productive because I learned a lot about the power supply, like the normal amount of voltage that the power supply, supplies, and I learned  about some of the incidents  that Mr. Szyd was in where he had to do almost nothing and he got paid 50 dollars.
Tomorrow I will try to stay more attentive to the lesson and stay away from Donna.

Cycle 14 Day 9

Today, we got our LAN for Need For Speed kind of working, it worked when it wanted to. Also, I worked a little on my bookwork. Tomorrow, I will hopefully finish it up, I was distracted today.
Today was not that productive because I did not work on my work that much, and I played more games than I should have. Hopefully I can sit down and start working tomorrow.

Cycle 14 Day 7

Today in shop, I worked on some of my book work. I really need to work on that some more tomorrow. Also, we got the new server for the IST room, it is a Dell. I'm sure it will be very fast.
Today, also, I worked on crashing the windows 7 virtual machine, we crashed it!

Today was kind of productive because we did work on the virtual machine, but I've been goofing off a lot, hopefully tomorrow I can concentrate a bit more.

Cycle 14 Day 4

Today in I S TTTTTTTTTTT, I watched a bunch of presentations, from An Anime singing program to Why Facebook is better than twitter. This is very great because they did a very good job at presenting. I LOVED THE ANIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Super amazing.
Today was productive because everyone who presented was produtive in presenting, and it was very interesting and fun!

Cycle 14 Day 3

Today in IST I did a job application for Mr. Szyd, I did a job interview for working with hardware and programs and OS' in production. It went very well!
I also finished my remix of Thrift Shop today.
Today was a productive day because I now have a 100 in shop and that is an accomplishment.
Tomorrow I will start on my hardware project with Krys Velez.

Cycle 14 4/2/13

Today, we had a sub, and it was Mr. Syd's Wife! She is really cool and a good teacher, and babysitter. Yesterday I worked on and presented my convincing presentation about the Metallica Album, "Death Magnetic." Yesterday was productive because I finally presented my presentation, with Mike and Christian. Hopefully tomorrow we can start on some new things.

Cycle 14 4/1/13

Today, It was a calm day in IST, I learned how to use an air compressor, and I worked on a Music Making software. Today was Not that productive because I goofed off a lot and nothing really happened. Hopefully Tomorrow I will do some more productive things.

Cycle 12 Summary

During Cycle 12, I started by doing some PowerPoint chapters, in these chapters, I learned how to use powerpoint to do animations, transitions, and other advanced techniniques in this program. Also in this cycle, I learned how to embed an internet browser into PowerPoint. I also learned how to embed a Flash Video and a YouTube video into PowerPoint.
Another project that I did last cycle was two videos, one explaining how to embed a youtube video into powerpoint. Another about how to make a virtual machine.
Lastly, I made a smart board game called Metal or Not Metal, and make a convincing presentation on why Death Magnetic is the best Metallica album.
Last Cycle was very interesting, I thought it was a very productive cycle because I learned how to do so many different special things. I hope this cycle is just as productive.
I will make sure to blog more.

3/13/13

I feel bad because I haven't blogged this cycle, I need to write one. So this cycle, cycle 12, I have worked on a MS DOS computer. Well it was mostly Krys, but I learned a little bit from him. Thanks Krys, shout out to you.
Also during this cycle, we have learned about Powerpoint and some advanced stuff about it. I will make sure to write more later this week.

February the 4th

Today, I am so proud of myself, did not play any games in IST, I worked on and finished my flash project, even though it is not the best, I like it. It is frame by frame, and if I could start it again, I would have done it in the individual timeline.
But oh well, I guess it will have to do.
Today was very very good and useful because I finished up my Flash and was not distracted by any games, hopefully I can keep it that way.

Friday in my shoe-op

On Friday, I worked more on my crabcore animation in flash, and also got in trouble, I have to play less games, and tomorrow, I will not play any games, so maybe Mr. Szyd can like me more again. That is my goal.
I felt the day was productive and not productive, I worked on my Flash projecct a lot, and it's almost done, but I played some games, and that was not productive. So hopefully I can stop playing so many games, and get to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yesterday, 1/31/13

Yesterday, I started my Crabcore band project, and I also finished my arm throwing ball project, I originally made it frame by frame, but then I had to change it to a motion tween. So I did that!
Yesterday was productive because I learned how to make motion tweens and I learned how to make a band in Flash, and they move!

Working with Flash

Today in IST, we worked with flash, and finished chapter 5 and 6. We learned how to use words to make a movie picture that formed into these words.
I feel like today was very productive because, I learned how to do things that I will hopefully use in my big project if we have one for Flash.

1/28/13 in My shop

Yesterday, our IST class worked on more chapters on Adobe Flash, and we tried some of the stuff that we saw in the video.
I feel like yesterday was productive, because we watched a lot of videos and I got most of the stuff and understood it.

On last friday in IST, we works with adobe flash and started to make simple animations. This program is very fun because you can make a movie in it, like a flip note style movie. AND, you can draw anything you can imagine.
i hope i can learn to draw good and understand this software more this cycle!

Yesterday in IST

Yesterday...
We learned the basics of Adobe Flash, This software is a very powerful tool for drawing and publishing to the web, and seems like a very fun thing to learn!
I look forward to working more with it this cycle!

My Independent Project

My project to finish off the first cycle in IST is, a complicated Minecraft world with my friends in IST. We are making nuclear power plants, and wiring up a whole entire city! That is pretty massive. This is a fun, exciting, and awesome project, as well as an educational project to learn about computer craft and all that fun stuff. I am looking forward to working on this and I hope it turns out well!

What I did on the 9th

Today I finished up my chapter 4 Word work, which was pretty hard, but I eventually figured it out and finished it. Other than that, we were going to order pizza, but Dominos does not start making pizza until 11:30 a.m. and since we had a half day, we would not have enough time to eat the pizza :(
I think we are going to order one on Friday, so that is something to look forward to! :)

A pretty Sweet Day

So today...

I did my chapter 4 work, but then realized it was wrong, so now I'm am about 3/4 done with my new chapter 4 work, I am sad that I had to restart, but this is turning out better anyway, so I'm happy that I  am almost done :)
IST is great, and eve Word is very interesting, I am realizing that this is a powerful tool, rather than just a program to type with!

Today was very good, we played Minecraft, I made my Z drive, and I finished the chapter 2 and 3 word assignments, today was a good day!

FINISHED!!!!!!

Finally done with all the Word that I had to do. I'm waiting for more work, but for now, I can sit back, and relax :) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I LOOOOOOVE IST!!!!!!! This is an awesome shop, and I look forward to in every day.

2nd Day in IST

Which was yesterday. We worked with Word, I did two posters, one on Alka-Seltzer, and one for the IST production, where our shop fixes computer problems and many other things, so students can bring their electronics in to get them repaired.

I'm glad that the posters are done, and I like IST so far. I'm very happy that I made it into this amazing shop!

Just played Minecraft in school, made fireworks! IST is fun and great so far! I am ready for more work whenever.

Why am I Here?

I am in IST because I really want to make a future in the programming field. I enjoy computers and I have wanted to do something with them for a career for quite a while.

I picked it because this is the best choice I have in order to start a foundation for the future, and like I said before, I want to learn networking, and programming.

In IST, I am afraid of breaking a computer and/or putting a virus on one, and I want to avoid mostly coding, because it takes a while, and it can sometimes be confusing, but if I do it, I will still like it because it is something about computers, and eventually I would probably be better at it.

A career that I would like to pursue is one in networking or programming. Some questions I have are, are there different kinds of programming.
